Another Tribute to our Quran Translation

‘Atlas of the Islamic World’ uses Maulana Muhammad Ali’s Version

The Light & Islamic Review (US), January/February 1996 Issue (Vol. 73, No. 1, p. 15)

In the Atlas of the Islamic World Since 1500 by Francis Robinson (Time-Life Books, 1991 reprint), which covers much of the history, religion and culture of Islam, the Bibliography (page 229, column 2) refers to English translations of the Quran and observes:

“Notable for its precision is that of Muhammad Ali of Lahore, the version used with one exception throughout this book.”
