An Important Announcement
re: ‘The Light’
The Light (Pakistan), 1st February 1976 Issue (Vol. 56, No. 5, p. 1)
It has been decided by the Anjuman to convert “The Light” into a monthly Magazine. In view of getting through some necessary arrangements, in effecting this change, the first issue of the proposed monthly Magazine will come out in March next. It is hoped that the change in the status of “The Light” will eminently enhance its value and efficacy as a first-rate Magazine in disseminating the true teachings of Islam and the Holy Quran. The Anjuman has also decided to set-up an Editorial Board for this noble venture, whose composition would be announced shortly. This Board of eminent scholars from among the Jamaat [Movement], will be responsible for the policy of the Paper as well as for its efficient running with their valuable, timely and scholarly contributions.
