Dr. Nazirul Islam Passed Away

It is with profound sorrow and grief that we record the sudden death of Dr. Nazirul Islam by heart failure on 1st January 1984. He was buried the same evening at the Darus Salaam Ahmadiyya Cemetery, Lahore. The Janaza [funeral] prayers were led by Hazrat Dr. Saeed Ahmad Khan Sahib, Head of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement. The Late Dr. Nazirul Islam was a scholar of Arabic and German. He was Imam of the Mosque at Berlin in 1937. He also served for several years as Imam of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat-i-Islam, United Kingdom from 1978 to 1980. Recently, he was teaching Arabic to Foreign students at the Ahmadiyya Seminary at Darus Salaam, Lahore (Pakistan). May Allah shower His choicest blessings on the departed soul.
