Notes: A Churchman on Services
The Light (Pakistan), 15th June 1922 Issue (Vol. 1, No. 13, p. 1)
The Rev. T. P. Stevens, in a recent issue of the Daily News, says
“the average decent man rarely goes to Church. If he were asked to give his reason, he would hesitate, and then explain that Church services bore him.”
These words speak for themselves. The fact is that the days of Christianity are numbered in the West. That is why the Christian missionaries are working hard in the East in order to recoup their loss in the West. It is a golden chance for the Muslims, who should make both individual and organised efforts for the spread of Islam in Western countries.
