A Letter of Appreciation

The Young Islam, 15th July 1934 Issue (Vol. 1, No. 4, Supplement p. 1)

Dear Sir,
Assalamu Alaikum.

Many thanks for the four copies of The Young Islam sent to my address.

It is a matter of great pleasure that our young men are now in the field of action. They have taken a practical step in strengthening the cause espoused by our Ahmadiyya Movement, and the days, I think, are not far when the Ahmadiyya Young Men’s Association would work wonders in the realm of religion.

I heartily welcome the journal and promise to render it every possible help.

A gross misunderstanding is encompassing the minds or the people regarding the Ahmadiyya Movement. It is all due to the storm of opposition raised by the so-called Ulamas [learned ones] of the age. In fact, the intelligentsia have now begun to realize the utility of the work put in by the Ahmadis, but the masses are still ignorant of the real significance of our movement. The Young Islam, I hope, will be a very useful instrument in eradicating all the false notions entertained by people about the movement. A paper like The Young Islam was highly needed. The Young Ahmadis all over the world will, I hope, welcome it heartily.

Yours sincerely
Murtza Khan
