Summary
In this booklet, published in 2017, Dr Zahid Aziz has traced the influences on Maulana Muhammad Ali that resulted in the first translation and commentary of the Holy Quran by a Muslim. The Maulana’s translation afforded a true picture of the Holy Book to the Western world and also laid the foundation for future translations by Muslims.
