Fundamentals of the Christian Faith in the Light of the Gospels

The Gospels Contradict Church Doctrine: His Flesh and Bones

By showing his wounds to the disciples, Jesus tried to assure them that he was neither a demon nor any other evil spirit. He observed that a spirit hath not flesh and bones (Luke, 24:37–43); God Who is a spirit has neither bones nor flesh (John, 4:24). Now God is Incomprehensible and Unseen. Jesus did not possess Divine qualities, to be looked upon as God or a spirit.
