Impression Jesus Created on Jewish Mind: Plucking of Others’ Corn
His disciples entered, without permission, into the cornfields of the people, and plucked and ate the ears of corn on the Sabbath day, which was unlawful and forbidden. This was a double offence (Matthew, 12:1–2).
